GLC’s NEW EASY HUB SKIRT

GLC proudly introduces our new, patent-pending easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt which consists of silicone skirt strands hand placed around a retainer hub. Our easy hub skirt is the first truly new design innovation in the fishing lure skirt market in over 25 years. Introduced in 2006, the easy hub skirt has caught the industry by storm. In addition to being easily replaceable on virtually any wire bait or jig head design, it provides an unparalleled level of style, coloration flexibility, and constant pulsating action. With our easy hub skirt, the fisherman can change the color and style of any skirted lure in seconds, without time consuming lure changes or re-rigging. Thus, keeping a lure in the water where it should be. Just grasp the skirt by the flexible silicone collar, thread it onto the hook/head through the center hole in the collar and push it up snug over the lures’ skirt retainer hub. To remove and replace with a different color/style easy hub skirt, just grasp the skirt collar and pull it off. Do not pull on the silicone strands when replacing skirts, this may damage the strands. GLC’s NEW EASY HUB TRAILER SKIRT

GLC proudly introduces our new, patent-pending easy on, easy off lure skirt with integrated trailer strands which consists of silicone skirt strands hand placed around a retainer hub with additional strands hand place on the hub to create a lure trailer. As a result of this unique hub mounted strand design, the strands project out from the hub at a 90 degree angle creating a perfect umbrella shape like no other skirt on the market. This skirt is private labeled by Z-Man Fishing Products as the EZ Trailer™ and by Strike King as the Perfect Skirt™ with Magic Tails™. This unique trailer skirt is an expansion of our revolutionary easy on, easy off hub mounted skirt. It consists of either a 2 thick cut strand or 21 standard cut strand straight back trailer in combination with the 70 strand umbrella. It is offered as a one or two piece unit. The one piece unit takes a 70 strand easy hub skirt and adds a 3 to 4.5 inch 2 or 21 strand trailer. The two piece unit is a 3.5 inch 2 or 21 strand wrap skirt constructed without the usual center tube or hub, and with our innovative top cap that fits snugly behind any of our 70 strand easy hub skirts. It allows the fisherman to covert any of our easy hub skirts into a easy hub trailer skirt and to change trailer colors at will. The one piece trailer can be custom produced with up to 14 different colored strands on the umbrella and up to 3 different colors on the trailer strands. The add-on hub trailer for the two piece unit can be custom produced in up to 3 different strand colors. And with over 6,000 colors of silicone sheets produced in our silicone sheet molding process, the styles and variety of our finished easy hub trailer skirt is endless. Unlike any other lure skirt on the market, our easy hub trailer skirt can be custom assembled to match the coloration of any custom painted jig head. The silicone molded hub provides a tight, secure fit to any jig head, yet allows for easy replacement. GLC’s NEW EZ BAND SKIRT

Introducing the first ever patent pending easy on, easy off fused band lure skirt. This skirt is private labeled by Z-Man Fishing Products as the EZ Band™ skirt. Some fishermen were somewhat critical of our easy hub skirt in that it does not have the “fullness” of the old cut & banded skirt. So here at GLC, we put our engineering minds to work and came up with a solution. Our solution was to create a cut & banded skirt with some of the major attributes of our easy hub skirt. This new easy on, easy off fused band skirt is produced similar to a traditional banded skirt with a 40 to 80 strand umbrella and 40 to 80 shorter strand hook cover, giving the same fullness of the traditional banded skirt. But instead of a rubber band used to hold individual strands in place and fix the skirt to the lure hub, our easy band skirt incorporates a silicone band that is molded in place and a pronounced hook hole in the center of the skirt. The result is a skirt that can be easily removed and replaced without disturbing the strands and a band that will not dry rot in your tackle box. No more bands popping and strands flying. No more strands pulling out when you try to remove and replace your skirt. Just easy on, easy off, just like our easy hub skirt. Additionally, the accent strands stay in one place and the skirt can be easily rotated on the lure to position accents where you want them. With over 6,000 colors and print patterns of silicone sheets produced with our silicone sheet molding process and print shop, the styles and variety of our finished easy on, easy off fused band lure skirt is endless. The 30 shore silicone molded in band provides a tight, secure fit to any jig head, yet allows for easy replacement. The hub is clear or can be produced in over 10 different standard colors for the ultimate in color coordination. It is also available with a 21 strand trailer. Like our easy hub skirt, the easy band skirt will take the skirt market by storm.

GLC’s NEW HOLOGRAPHIC FLASH SKIRT STRANDS

Our new patent pending holographic flash silicone skirt strands is another first for GLC Fishing. It is an innovative new design for the saltwater skirted teaser lure, as well as for freshwater lures and jigs. This skirting material is private labeled by Z-Man Fishing Products as the SilaFlash™ Skirt. Z-Man’s SilaFlash™ Skirt is an EZ Skirt™ incorporating our new patent pending holographic flash silicone skirt strands. This new flashy skirting material consists of metallic/holographic foils and Mylar laminated with silicone or urethane. This new product answers the request of every seasoned offshore fisherman by providing a teaser skirt with the incredible action of silicone rubber combined with the shine and flash of a stiff Mylar stranded skirt. It also appeals to the freshwater fisherman looking for an enhanced shine and flash not offered by any other lure skirt on the market. When sun light hits this skirt it emits a blinding flash like no other skirt on the market. And the new 3M holographic material that we use emits a full spectrum of colors along with that blinding flash. Our line of holographic flash silicone skirts have gloss, shine, flash, and action far superior to the nylon, PVC, and rubber stranded teasers on the market today. They offers the same flash as a Mylar or metallic foil stranded skirt, except they have the life like action and durability of a silicone rubber skirt. And when utilized on our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt, it has a perfect umbrella and is easily replaceable on our special saltwater teaser lure head or virtually any freshwater jig head available. For the offshore market, we make our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt with our holographic flash silicone strand material with 60 to 70 strands in standard 4.5”, 6”, and 8” lengths in special 3M holographic strands, chrome strands, and metallic colored holographic strands in all of the commonly used skirt colors. For the freshwater fisherman, we offer our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt with our holographic flash silicone strand material in our standard 70 strand 2.5” model and as a 2 piece easy on, easy off trailer in 3.5” and 4” lengths. The holographic flash silicone strand material can also be used on our new easy on, easy off fused band lure skirt, our new CapWrap™ skirt, our new Big EZ™ skirt, and any standard cut and banded skirt.

GLC’s NEW SWIRL STRAND™

GLC has created the industry’s first swirled and blended color lure skirt strands, creating unique lure skirt colorations previously unattainable. In each skirt strand there exists randomly swirled base color pigmentation that exhibits a rainbow like swirling of multiple colors. The aesthetic effect of which is to create a randomly multi-colored lure skirt that imitates the swirled coloration effect of certain fish prey species. Like our holographic flash strands, Swirl Strand™ can be applied to a banded skirt or any of our line of easy skirt products.

The new EZ Prop™ Skirt (patent pending) is yet another great innovation from GLC Fishing. It is an innovative new design for applying spinning flash to the saltwater skirted teaser lure. The EZ Prop™ hub incorporates the new holographic flash silicone skirt strands and when coupled to our specially designed teaser head, it creates a saltwater teaser lure with a dynamic array of shine and flash for attracting big game. And following with the design theme of all of our easy products, the EZ Prop is designed to be easily replaced. This allows for an unlimited versatility in skirt and propeller color combinations. The EZ Prop™ fits to our specially designed teaser head with screw-in skirt hub. The EZ Prop™ is not the first saltwater teaser lure with rotating propeller, but it is the most unique, trouble-free, and effective unit on the market. Other propeller teasers permanently incorporate the propeller into the lure head. Some even use ball bearings for enhanced rotation. Our propeller is incorporated into the replaceable skirt. We use no metal parts to jam and corrode. We employ a vacuum metalized durable nylon propeller on a silicone hub which is Teflon coated for friction reduction. At normal trolling speeds, our EZ Prop™ propeller teaser lure will outperform any on the market today, with the added benefit of interchangeability, versatility, and our unique patent pending holographic flash silicone skirt strands for unmatched flash and action.

GLC’s NEW EASY RATTLE SYSTEM

Our new easy on, easy off rattle system is another innovative expansion of our revolutionary easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt and is focused on the jig fishing market. Our easy rattle system consists of a specially designed twin ear hub with 2 of our state-of-the-art brass drum rattles attached. Our new rattle design provides for enhanced frequency and sound quality, and when combined with the superior umbrella and action of our easy hub skirt, it creates the best, most effective rattling jig skirt on the market today. The rattles are easily removed and reinstalled on any of our easy hub skirts with the special hub which allows for total interchangeability for style and coloration. The rattle hub can be produced in over 10 different standard colors for the ultimate in color coordination. This easy rattle system employs our specially designed polycarbonate rattles with brass drum ends that mount on the easy collar loosely, allowing unidirectional movement and maximizing sound production. Our rattles are designed to uniquely produce the exact underwater sound frequency known to attract fish. Bottom line, unlike other rattles that just make a little noise, our rattles make the specific sound that attracts big bass and other fish species. And because they are mounted to the easy collar for unidirectional motion allowing them to pulsate with the skirt pulsation pattern, they produce more sound than fixed mount rattles. GLC’s NEW EZ LEGS™

Our new easy on, easy off paddle tail trailer legs are another innovative expansion of our revolutionary line of easy products. Our patent pending EZ Legs™ can be quickly added to virtually any jig or wire bait to enhance its presentation. When combined with our easy hub skirt, EZ Legs™ create an exceptional pulsating, paddles bait presentation and fish attractor. Like all of our easy products, EZ Legs™ come in an array of colors, print schemes and styles and can be easily interchanged. Thus, the fisherman can change the color and style of the lure in seconds, without time consuming lure changes or re-rigging. Thus, keeping a lure in the water where it should be.

GLC’s NEW EZ BLADE™

Our new easily replaceable lure blade comes in all of the popular sizes and styles typically used by the fisherman. Our new patent pending EZ Blade™ simply clips on and off of any looped appendage on the lure, thus allowing quick and easy change out of the lures blades. Unlike other blade interchange systems that employ a plastic clevis clip and/or screw on end blade devices, the EZ Blade™ incorporates the clipping device on the blade itself. Therefore it can be attached to any looped appendage on the lure such as a clevis, swivel split ring, or similar. With our EZ system, the fisherman spends less time changing lures and more time catching fish.

Our EZ Eyes™ can easily be fitted on any of our easy trolling lures without re-rigging to provide flying wing 3D holographic eyes and enhance the presentation of the lure. GLC’s NEW EASY HUB TREBLE SKIRT

Our new EZ Treble™ is yet another innovative expansion of our revolutionary easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt focused on the hard body lure and small spinner lure markets. The EZ Treble™ consists of a specially designed 20 to 45 strand easy hub skirt with micro cut, 9 gauge strands in lengths from 0.5 to 1.5 inch customized as an innovative treble hook dressing. It fits easily on and off of various size treble hooks and provides superior action and presentation. As with our other easy products, the EZ Treble™ can be custom produced with up to 10 different colored strands on a single skirt. And with over 6,000 colors and print schemes of silicone sheets produced in our silicone sheet molding process, the styles and variety of finished EZ Trebles™ is endless. The silicone molded hub provides a tight, secure fit to any treble hook, yet allows for easy replacement. GLC’s NEW CAPPED WRAP SKIRT

As a cheaper alternative to our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt, GLC proudly introduces our new, patent-pending CapWrap™ skirt. This new, great-looking wrap skirt offers the easy on, easy off feature of the easy hub skirt at a fraction of the cost. It fits quickly and easily onto your favorite spinner-bait or jig head to keep you fishing more and rigging less. For lure manufacturers and assemblers, it offers a tremendous opportunity for cost savings while providing a better looking, better functioning end product. Our CapWrap™ skirt is comparably priced to the old style banded skirt while dramatically reducing the lure assembly cost associated with stretching banded skirts over the lure hub, aligning strands, and trimming. The resulting umbrella on our CapWrap™ skirt is far superior to that of the old style banded skirt, giving the lure a much better presentation both in the water and out. Unlike other wrap skirts on the market today, it does not employ a central hub and includes a pressure bonded cap that dramatically improves the umbrella effect. Just like the easy hub skirt, our CapWrap™ skirt comes in lengths from 1 1/2 inches for crappie and pan fish to 6 inches for muskie and larger freshwater game fish. The skirt comes in a variety of colors and can be fitted with up to 4 colors/patterns to coordinate with your own paint schemes. Our first of a kind JigSoc™ was conceived as a solution to the age old problem of chipping on painted and metalized jig heads. For years, freshwater fisherman who routinely bounces their lure off of rocks, banks, and docks have experienced jig head chipping and premature deterioration of their often expensive lures. With this problem in mind, GLC developed the concept of coating the jig head with a soft, flexible silicone. This concept led to the design and prototyping of the JigSoc™. The JigSoc™ is a soft (30 shore) 100% high quality silicone injection molded sock that fits snuggly over the casted jig head. The JigSoc™ can be molded to fit any style, shape, or size jig head. Once installed, the JigSoc™ provides a durable, chip-proof jig head. The JigSoc™ can be produced in a variety of base colors and can be glittered, silk-screened, and foiled to provide a truly custom appearance. Furthermore, due to the softer texture of the silicone and the ability to custom paint with glitter or foil scaling, the JigSoc™ more closely resembles live bait and produces a more lifelike sound as it bumps underwater objects. With the soft silicone stranded EZ Skirt™ custom assembled to match the JigSoc™ custom painting and foiling, the spinner bait exhibits a style and look unmatched in the lure market.

The Kingfish teaser has been a mainstay for saltwater Fishermen for many years now. GLC has created a new style Kingfish teaser that incorporates our easy on, easy off hub mounted skirts in strand lengths from 2” up to 6”. We manufacture custom skirt hub/heads in plated brass, polished stainless steel, and vacuum metalized plastic. To create a Kingfish teaser with a perfect umbrella and pulsating action like no other. And when we include our patent pending holographic flash silicone skirt strands, you get a Kingfish teaser with a pulsating flash that drives fish wild. Our easy teasers and easy holographic flash teasers can be rigged separately or as a daisy chain teaser . This easy teaser has been private branded by Z-Man Fishing Products as the new EZ Teaser™. The easy teaser can be customized to any color combination, to catch anything you put your mind to.

GLC is proud to introduce its new patent pending Mini Smoker™ teaser lure head. The Mini Smoker™ was specially designed for our line of salt-water easy teaser kingfish teasers. The Mini Smoker™ skirt hub/head comes in 2 styles, a one piece CNC milled polished stainless steel or chromed brass smoker head or a 2 piece acrylic or nylon version that can be easily snapped on and off of our standard bullet shaped Kingfish teaser head. This revolutionary product is the first of its kind mini (6 mm) smoker head and when used in combination with our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt provides a spectacular display in the water. As with all of our easy products, skirts can be quickly and easily replaced to keep you fishing more and rigging less.

GLC proudly introduces our new, patent-pending Big EZ™ saltwater teaser lure skirt. This skirt is the first of its kind easy on, easy off saltwater teaser bait skirt. This amazing skirt fits easily and quickly onto our specially designed teaser/smoker head to keep you fishing more and rigging less. In certain cases, it can even be replaced without removing terminal tackle. Our design which is similar to the CapWrap™ skirt allows for quick skirt replacement to change colors or replace skirts damaged by toothy fish strikes. The skirt comes in a variety of colors and can be fitted with any custom combination of colors/patterns to coordinate with custom painted teaser heads. It can be installed on the teaser/smoker head to produce a straight back streamer effect, or inverted to produce a perfect umbrella effect. Our Big EZ™ comes in lengths from 5 1/2 inches for mackerel and smaller game fish to 11 inches for billfish. Because the Big EZ™ is made from 100% silicone with no filler added, it has a much more impressive action in the water than nylon and Mylar, it will not sun fade or deteriorate like rubber and PVC, and it will come back to shape, time and time again.

Over 40 years ago the plastic sand eel lure was introduced to America. In a matter of years, the lure had a huge following, especially in the New England states. This lure was soon introduced in PVC and Plastisol versions by a number of companies. GLC was commissioned by a US Buyer to design and manufacture a sand eel soft bait similar to those in production by others. We originally branded our version of the sand eel lure as the Gilly Lure. Then later, our US Buyer indicated that they had obtained the RedGill trademark here in America because the original Red Gill company had gone out of business. So we started using the RedGill name. We have since learned that the original Red Gill company in England is still in business, so we have ceased to use this name and reverted back to our Gilly Lure brand. The GLC Gilly Lure is similar to other plastic sand eels except for a few major refinements, such as adding protruding pectoral fins as stabilizers to keep the lure from spinning, a hollow body to give it more buoyancy, a more rigid body, a re-designed paddle tail, and making the lure out of 100% high grade silicone instead of Plastisol or PVC for durability and environmental friendliness. It is available in six sizes from 70 mm to 320 mm in the sand eel style and 1 size (150mm) in the plug style. The Gilly lure has a superior action and is more durable than the original PVC and Plastisol versions. It won’t sun fade or deteriorate in the tackle box like the others. And because we inject two different durometer silicones in the body and tail, it has a harder, more rigid body with a soft, life-like tail.

GLC designs, sources, and imports lures and lure components for lure companies globally. Our offshore suppliers have high volume capabilities for spin casting, die casting, blade stamping, laser cutting, CNC machining, wire bending, chroming, color chroming, silver and gold plating, aluminum anodizing, vacuum metalizing, custom hand painting, plastic and nylon injection molding, silicone compression and injection molding, lure assembly, and custom mold/die design and production. We have designed and patented 5 lure products in the past 18 months. We can take your lure concepts and ideas and design the final product for ultimate functionality and production efficiency. Or, we can work directly from your established design drawings, specs and CAD data. Our offshore manufacturers have fully equipped machine shops and make their own molds and dies, so they can custom produce virtually anything you would want. GLC is proud to have perfected the design and introduce 3 new patent pending EZ products. The new EZ Legs™, EZ Blade™, and EZ Eyes™ are a logical addition to GLC’s line of easy on, easy off lure components that allow the fisherman to spend less time re-rigging and more time fishing. And also eliminating the costly practice of having to purchase multiple lures just to acquire a variety of skirt, blade, and trailer styles and colors.

SILICONE SHEETS & TABS

GLC produces the highest quality silicone sheets available in the industry today. Unlike others who add chemical fillers and/or 10 to 20 percent recycled silicone, GLC uses 100% high grade Dow Corning silicone for each and every one of our molded sheets. This process yields the most life-like action and the purest coloration available on the market. Once compounded, our 100% high grade silicone is extruded and precisely weighed to ensure consistent molding. Our precision, high compression sheet molding process produces consistent thickness of 16 to 18 mil and even, thorough curing, thus our sheets and tabs lay flat and straight. The GLC sheet is quite distinctive from any other silicone sheet on the market. Our computer matching pigment shop can match any silicone color imaginable and our 3 roll mill provides thorough distribution of silicone catalyst, color pigment, and glitter during the compounding process. Our print shop serves to further enhance the distinctiveness of the GLC sheet. We utilize a full range of printing and coloration techniques including silkscreen scaling, external glitter application, and a foiling process patented by and licensed to us by Z-Man Fishing Products, Inc. of the USA. Once printed and foiled, each sheet is cured in our 3 meter ovens. GLC currently produces over 4,000 colorations for our silicone sheets and tabs. Our tabs are cut with high compression 4 post cutting presses and custom made cutting die sets instead of the traditional clicker press. This gives our tabs and skirt strands a more even, straight cut. In addition to our traditional silicone sheet coloration and printing capabilities, GLC also offers custom art design and printing, complete with holographic foiling.

GLC now manufactures the innovative Reel Weeds weed line for LaDredge Outdoors. This weed line provides an artificial structure which serves as a fish magnet. It is primarily employed for ice fishing, but has equal effectiveness in virtually any fishing environment. The new Reel Weeds weed line is exclusively made with a series of our Easy Hub Skirts.
